HELLOOOOO TO THE LAST YEAR OF MY TWENTIES 🎊 Here’s to hoping I age like a fine wine 🍷 and not a banana 🍌🚮 🤣🙅🏽♀️ GAH, 29 just sounds so much OLDER than 28, amiright?! 😳 But for real I have a few goals for myself this year that I thought I’d share because, you know, accountability ✔️ * Spend more money on experiences vs. things 💰 * Marie Kondo tf out of my house 🏠Garage sale anyone?! * TRAVEL ✈️ as much as possible * Read more 📚 * Write more hand-written thank you notes * Give more to this world than I take 🌎 * Make self-care & health a priority 💆🏽♀️🧘🏽♂️🏋🏽♀️ * Don’t forget to celebrate the little victories-they stack up 🏆 * Chase my passions no matter what they say 💃🏽🙉 * Have the courage to finish & launch a fun project I’ve been working on 🤗🤫 * Listen closely to the sounds of my soul and don’t deny the person I was meant to be 🙌🏼 * Live in & enjoy the NOW. The past is gone & the future- well, it hasn’t happened yet 🔮 * Franchise a P.Terry's in Dallas 🍔 JK... but like, if someone wants to drive up & bring me one of those veggie burgers today I WOULDN’T HATE IT... 🤤 And for those looking to give me a birthday present 🎁, It would absolutely mean the 🌎 to me if you’d hop on over & make a donation to a charity close to my heart, Dallas Dogrrr. As someone with personal experience with addiction & mental illness in my family, I can tell you I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the resources my family could afford & I was given. Unfortunately not everyone is in the same boat. Every mother deserves a chance to get better when she asks for help & every child deserves to grow up knowing it’s NOT their fault & being healthy & happy is not only something they can achieve, but that they DESERVE 🖤 Cheers, y’all & thanks for being here on this journey with me 🥂
