This morning as I was mindlessly scrolling on social media I found a post from a 16-year-old raising money for human trafficking victims:
“When I die, I want to know that my time on this earth was used to help others. I want to live a life worthy: making our world a better place, giving to those who are in need, making waves when life is stagnant, breaking chains of those oppressed, and planting seeds to grow change. So how does a 16-year-old from a small town do that- affect change? Well, I ask myself this question every day. I believe we were not meant to be quiet but to be a lion, to roar loud, to use our voice and stand up for our beliefs.”
>>> Her words, not mine.
Damn. Did you lose your breath like I did?
What a soulful little girl.
A heart of service- fiercely following her dreams of helping others and taking a step towards making our world a better place 🌎
It was beautiful and gave me so much hope.. and yet another reason to smile ✨
