Everyday Heroes

Taking a moment today to shout out the everyday heroes. To those who opened the door for someone today. Paid for the coffee behind them in the drive through line. Said hello with a smile to the stranger in the lobby. Held the elevator. Forgave someone who wasn’t worth forgiving. Adopted the unwanted animal from the shelter. Adopted an animal. At all. Donated to something they believe in.

Helped someone or something that couldn’t help itself. Did something good JUST BECAUSE. Told the truth even when it was less exciting, less sexy- more REAL. Paid someone’s bill when their card was declined. Helped someone carry their bags.

Gave up their seat. Chose to believe in the good and not the bad. Believed in humanity. Even when it failed them. Smiled. Because dammit if life isn’t good.. Even when it hurts sometimes. Cuts you so deep, but at least we’re alive to feel it <3
